WHAT IS DRY ICE BLAST CLEANING
Rice grain size Dry Ice at -78°C is forced under pressure through a self contained unit at the speed of sound through a dry ice cleaning pipe using prepared compressed air.The dry ice pellets slam the surface creating a thermal shock wave. On impact they sublimate and fracture the surface-substrate bond.The reaction removes the surface material without spoiling the substrate while the harmless CO2 gas from the sublimated dry ice is absorbed back into the atmosphere. There is no dirt, water, sand or chemicals, solvents or other dangerous contaminants to remove with this environmentally responsible technology.
